CPI (Maoist) admits desertion by party cadres

"To get benefits of rewards and promotion, security forces are attacking villages and arresting Tribals, non-Tribal activists and youths and declaring them as Maoists," a Maoist leader claimed. The outlawed Communist Party of India (Maoist) has admitted that its cadres are deserting the party and are getting attracted towards the “bankrupt” surrender policy employed by the government. “It is true that some of our ‘weak’ cadres are getting attracted towards the bankrupt and corrupt surrender policy of the government and laying down their arms,” Gudsa Usendi, the spokesperson of the Danda Karanya Special Zonal Committee (DKSZC) of the CPI (Maoist), said in a press statement . The Maoist statement has come in the wake of a spate of alleged Maoist surrenders in Bastar region of Chhhattisgarh.  “The revolutionary public term those who surrender before police as enemies of people. The revolutionary public hates such people. When such people are coming back to their villages, they h

The Home Office told the BBC the “tentative conclusions” of its analysis is that the number of victims is higher than thought.  figures show that 64 per cent of victims were female and 36 per cent were male According to the estimate, the victims included people trafficked from more than 100 countries – most commonly Albania, Nigeria, Vietnam and Romania - as well as British-born adults and chil

The Local | 31 Oct 2014, 15:05  Germany finds itself in a complicated relationship with the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). At home, police must investigate anyone who flies the flag, but in the Middle East they are the best hope of beating back the Islamic State.  Passers-by were confronted by a new addition to the statue commemorating the November Revolution of 1918 in  Rostock , northern Germany, on Friday morning. Someone had attached the flag of the outlawed PKK to the fist of the sailor statue. Firefighters were called immediately to remove it.  In Göttingen last week, police investigated Kurdish protesters for flying the flag of the PKK, whose symbols have appeared at Kurdish demonstrations across Germany. The PKK, which is believed to have 13,000 supporters in Germany, has been banned in the country for many years in response to its armed struggle against Turkey. In the early 90s the PKK attacked Turkish government buildings in Germany and in 1993 even stormed the Turkish C

“I look forward to death with a smile.” These words come from a British militant in western Iraq who is fighting for the Islamic State (ISIS) under the nom de guerre Abu A’ntaar. But one thing separates him from the majority of his comrades; Before his life as a jihadist, A’ntaar claims to have been a business analyst working in the City of London. For the past month, RT UK has been speaking exclusively to A’ntaar via an encrypted instant messenger popular amongst the social media savvy Western fighters in the region. A’ntaar’s penchant for propaganda made him no different than most western fighters ostentatiously trumpeting their messages via social media. But behind the standard ISIS rhetoric, he does provide glimpses into his daily life, what was expected of him as a fighter, and whether he would consider returning home in the future. RT did request a video or audio interview with A’ntaar. He refused after the ISIS media department and his higher ranking Emirs (regional

Danish mosque openly backs Islamic State's campaign of terror

A mosque in Denmark has openly declared its support for the Islamic State militant group. It comes just days after a Dane who fought with the terrorist organization in Syria stated that Denmark was “high upon [IS's] list of targets.” The place of worship, located in the city of Aarhus, has long been accused of promoting an extreme interpretation of Islam. Mosque spokesman Fadi Abdallah told the online news source Den Korte Avis that  “an Islamic state will always be what Muslims long for. Therefore we cannot help but to support the Islamic State. Even if it makes mistakes, we will just have to wait and see.” “The conditions aren’t the same down there [in Syria and Iraq] as they are here. I can fully understand why people are getting killed,”  he continued. In July, a video emerged of the Grimhojmoskeen mosque’s imam, Abu Bilal Ismail, calling on God to “destroy the Zionist Jews,”  the Local reported. The Grimhojmoskeen site has become a haven for Danish jihadists, with Ea
