4 Maoists surrender in Bastar

A deputy commander of the People’s Liberation Guerrilla Army, the military wing of the Communist Party of India (Maoist), and three members of the Maoist Jan Militia surrendered in the Bastar region of Chhattisgarh on Thursday. They are Podiyami Hidma, deputy commander of Platoon no.3 of the Indravati area committee of the Maoists; Murami Lachchi, member, Barsoor area local operating squad; Madavi Batti and Ramo Veko, a police press release said.
