Arms hidden by Maoists found

Jhargram (WB), Aug 17 (PTI) Police today recovered arms hidden by the Maoists in the forests of West Midnapore district. Jhargram SP Bharati Ghosh said based on leads provided by arrested Maoist Ranjan Munda, they searched a forest area near Nayagram village along the Odisha border and found the arms and ammunition hidden inside a plastic bag. The arms include a number cartridges, an AK-47 rifle, 18 detonator and other ammunition.
