10 militants killed in Orakzai operation
Army helicopters targeted militant hideouts in the Upper Orakzai Agency on Saturday killing 10 militants, sources said.
Official sources said that security forces had headed towards the Akhwanda Kot area as military offensive had been launched against militants in the tribal belt.
The sources added that the militants tried to escape the area in order to avoid being targeted.
Four hideouts of militants were also destroyed in bombardment.
Security forces have killed hundreds militants in the ongoing operations, where dozens security personnel, including an officer, were martyred in different clashes with militants.
