Arabinda Rajkhowa, chairman of the outlawed United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA), released from the Guwahati Central Jail to facilitate peace talks between the Government and top ULFA cadres. Rajkhowa, who was on Thursday granted bail by a special TADA court, said the ULFA is ready for unconditional peace talks but wants the outfit to stay united.

Rajkhowa, 54, was captured from Dhaka by sleuths of the Rapid Action Battalion and then handed over to Indian authorities December last year. He was at the Guwahati Central Jail for the past one year
