Bomb wounds 4 rangers in Pattani

Four rangers were wounded in a motorcycle bomb explosion while on patrol in Sai Buri district of Pattani province on Sunday.

Pol Col Jiraseth Dao-ngern, the Sai Buri police chief, said the incident occurred at about 10.30am at Moo 4 village in tambon Paseyawo.

The 5kg bomb, hidden in a motorcycle which was parked on one side of the road running through the village, was detonated as the patrol was passing by.
