DGP warns ISI-backed kingpin as crackdown hits new peak

J&K DGP Nalin Prabhat has issued a direct warning to Pakistan-based gangster Shahzad Bhatti, identified as an ISI-backed narco-terror operator. In the first month of the 'Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan', police made 806 arrests in 724 NDPS cases, seized 667 kg of narcotics and 19,000 psychotropic units, and attached 97 properties worth ₹41.85 crore, including assets in Punjab and Chandigarh. Authorities also demolished 41 drug-linked properties and destroyed illicit cultivation, showing the campaign’s expanded operational scope.
