Terrorists open fire at policeman in J&K’s Shopian

Militants fired upon a policeman in the Amishijipora area of Shopian district in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday. Injured ASI Shabir Ahmad was rushed to a hospital.

According to the Kashmir Zone Police, ASI Ahmad was coming back from a mosque after prayers in his native place when the terrorists fired upon him.

A case has been registered in the matter.

Meanwhile, the Army and police have condoned off the entire area. A search operation has been launched to nab the terrorists.
