NEW DELHI: Delhi Police's special cell on Tuesday nabbed a Pakistan-based terrorist in the city, averting a major terror attack on Navratri in the capital .
The terrorist, identified as Mohammad Asraf alias Ali, was held from Laxmi Nagar's Ramesh Park area. He was living with a fake ID of an Indian national in Delhi's Shastri Nagar.
One AK-47 assault rifle with one extra magazine and 60 rounds, one hand grenade, two sophisticated pistols with 50 rounds were recovered from his possession.
According to sources, Ali hails from Pakistan's Punjab province.
