6 BIFF bandits surrender

COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Six followers of wanted bomber Imam Bongos of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) surrendered on Monday.

Maj. Gen. Juvymax Uy, 6th Infantry Division (ID) commander, said the surrenderees turned over two M16 rifles, an M14 and three .30-caliber rifles and pledged allegiance to the government in the presence of Datu Salibo Mayor Solaiman Sandigan.

More than 100 BIFF members have surrendered to 6th ID units in the past year
