Neo-Nazi police officer sacked from Met following terror group conviction
A rookie police constable convicted of being part of a banned neo-Nazi terrorist group has been sacked by the Met.
Benjamin Hannam, 22, was dismissed from the force following a misconduct hearing on Wednesday. The decision was taken by Assistant Commissioner Helen Ball.
Hannam was found guilty earlier this month of being a member of the illegal right-wing extremist organisation National Action (NA).
He is due to appear at the Old Bailey on April 30 for sentencing. Hannam did not attend the hearing at the Empress State Building in Ear
