Bangladeshi Americans demand apology from Pakistan for ‘Operation Searchlight’

 

Bangladeshi Americans held a car rally followed by a protest outside Pakistan Embassy in Washington DC to demand an apology for the brutal military operation by Pakistan ‘Operation Searchlight’ to curb the Bangladeshi national movement. Protesters are also observing ‘Genocide Day’. The 50th anniversary of Bangladesh independence is being celebrated on March 26.
