Ten million dollars in Qatar funds for Gaza transferred by Israel for humanitarian relief have apparently disappeared. Hamas, a designated terror organization, took over Gaza from the Palestinian Authority 12 years ago.
One report says the funds, which were deposited in the Postal Bank late Sunday, June 16, 2019, and meant to be distributed to a list of poor families, were withdrawn by “unknown people.”
The Palestinian Authority believes that the families were removed from the list and replaced by Hamas clerks.
Yet another $15 million in cash was brought into the Strip by a Qatari delegation as well late Sunday. Residents, who were promised, $100 each, have yet to see the money.
After months of haggling, Israel – which also continually transfers humanitarian aid to Gaza — agreed to the transfer of funds to help the people of Gaza who are suffering from a lack of basic necessities caused by the fact that they are ruled by a terrorist organization that diverts any and all available funds unto terror.
Is anyone surprised then, that in one day’s time, the money disappeared, withdrawn by “unknown people”?
Qatar, an ally of Hamas and one of the largest supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood, currently gives millions in monthly aid to Gaza. In fact, between 2012 and 2018, the oil-rich country has invested $1.1 billion Hamas’ territory which it uses as a base to attack Israel.
Qatar also supplies aid and support to al-Qaeda and the Iranian as well as attempting to sway political opinion in the U.S. by spending millions of dollars on lobbyists, think tanks and media outlets.
Qatar has also given exorbitant sums to American universities in order to secure their hold. The Qatar Fund alone covers the expenses of six U.S. universities at a cumulative cost of nearly $405 million.
Hamas, which was founded as the Palestinian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood is designated as a terror organization by the United States, Canada, Egypt, the EU, Egypt, Russia, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Syria. (The UK, Australia and New Zealand designate Hamas’ “military wing” as a terror organization.)
In April 2019, the Trump administration announced plans to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization.
