PKK terrorists martyr Turkish soldiers using sophisticated weapons supplied by US
Weapons
used by terrorists from the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) to martyr
Turkish soldiers in the latest attacks in Syria’s Tal Rifat, and
Turkey’s Hakkari and Şırnak were all supplied by the U.S., according to
security sources.
According
to the same sources, PKK terrorists used “sophisticated” weapons and
munitions to carry out the attacks in question, stressing that the
terror group has “night vision” capabilities, and plans attacks using
precision-guided weapons.
PKK
terrorists now use advanced equipment such as thermal cameras, sniper
rifles with more effective fire rates even at night, and night-vision
binoculars, sources continued.
Sources
also noted that these weapons were used against Turkish soldiers in
both northern Iraq and Syria where they have been distributed by the
U.S. to PKK terrorists.
PKK/YPG
terrorists also possess 4th generation shoulder-fired anti-tank guided
missiles systems such as the Israeli-made Spike ATGM and the U.S.-made
Stinger Manpads and Cougar MRAP.
The
U.S. continues to deploy fresh weapons to terrorists, especially the
PKK/PYD-YPG, despite its pledge to retrieve the weapons it gave to
terrorist groups in northern Syria.
Although
the date set for the Aerican troop pullout from Syria has passed, the
U.S. is yet to reduce its military presence in Syria.
On
the contrary, 300 trucks were sent into areas occupied by YPG/PKK
terrorists in Syria from the Iraqi border at the beginning and the end
of February.
On
Feb. 4, the U.S. delivered nearly 150 truckloads of armored vehicles
and equipment to depots belonging to the YPG/PKK in the Harab Isk and
Sarrin villages.
Turkey
has long criticized the U.S. working with and supplying arms and
ammunition to the terrorist YPG/PKK, for the ostensible purpose of
defeating the terrorist group Daesh. Turkish officials argue that using
one terrorist group to fight another makes no sense.
In
its more than 30-year terror campaign against Turkey, the PKK has taken
some 40,000 lives, including many women and children. The YPG/PKK is
its Syrian branch.
