Delhi on high alert after intel warns of terror attacks by JeM on Independence Day 2018

Terrorists are planning to stay at cheap rented houses in Delhi-NCR, posing as electricians and plumbers to carry out attacks. Syed Muneer-Ul-Hasan-Qadri, a resident of Lolab Valley in north Kashmir's Kupwara district.
Qadri, who was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) for his role in a 2016 terror attack that killed seven soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir's Nagrota Army Camp, revealed this information.
Indian intelligence agencies have received terror threats for Independence Day and have issued a terror alert. Immediately after this, a high-profile meeting was called by Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik to decide on steps to fight this threat, which was attended by all senior police officers.
In this meeting, anti-terror measures during the Independence Day were the main subjects of discussion. Intelligence agencies said that there could be chaos spread by terror organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).
The terrorists could adopt a new style for the terror attacks. These terrorists in disguise of plumbers or electricians can execute their plans of attacks by impersonating as poor people. They can also find houses with cheap rent, do a recce of Delhi, and then do something big.
After getting this information, the Delhi Police have ordered to check all sewer lines, main holes, trees, doors and windows which open towards the road connecting Rajpath and Red Fort.
Delhi Police Commissioner told the special branch to file a report on this as soon as possible.
Furthermore, terrorists could get SIM cards on fake addresses and identities. Delhi Police have been told to keep an eye on every Kashmiri, especially on all the suspects.
According to sources, after nabbing the accused of Nagrota Army Camp attack in 2016, suspect Syed Muneer-Ul-Hasan-Qadri has revealed to agencies that India is on their target, especially the crowded areas of Delhi.
Therefore Patnaik conducted a meeting of all senior officials and ordered them to be alert against terrorism, especially against all activities of JeM.
