After a chilling letter suggested a plot to assassinate PM Narendra Modi, now an intel note from the year 2017 has emerged which mentions the PM among other India leaders being on the radar as targets. The most explosive part of the note is that Pakistan’s ISI has been named in the note as the mastermind of the plot. The secret intel note names 8 Indian leaders.
Ministers including PM Modi, Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj, Amit Shah, Yogi Adityanath, Manohar Parrikar, Rajnath Singh, Venkaiah Naidu are also on the hit-list.
The secret note dated January 2018 reveals October 2019 plot as per which Pakistan’s rogue body ISI hired Masood Azhar’s brother to carry out the plot. The note says that an 11-membered suicide squad led by Masood Azhar's distant cousin brother was trying to assassinate top Indian political leaders.
"According to an input, ISI planning to assassinate Indian political leaders. 11 members suicide squad of Mashood Azhar Chief JeM reached at Mahesh Khaliu coast of Chittagong port from Karachi Port," says the note.
The note then mentions the leaders who were on the hit-list along with PM Modi.
