Three jawans injured; one militant killed in attack on CRPF camp inJ&K's Udhampur

Three jawans have been injured and one militant killed in an attack on the CRPF camp on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Kud area of Udhampur District on Monday, police said.
"Heavy firing is going on in the area and all senior police officers are on their way to the spot," SSP Udhampur said.  More details are awaited.
This has been the second attack in last 24 hours. Six policemen were injured on Sunday in a militant attack in south Kashmir's Kulgam district.
On 3 June, three BSF troopers were killed and 11 others, including three civilians, were injured in a guerrilla attack at a security forces convoy in south Kashmir's Bijbehara town, an attack for which the terror group Hizb-ul-Mujahideen claimed responsibility.
However, over the last one month, militants have killed five policemen who were not deployed on counter-insurgency operations, but were doing routine policing like traffic control and management of law and order.
Most of such attacks have come against unarmed policemen.
