Six PKK terrorists killed in southeast Turkey

Latest death toll brings total number of 'neutralized' terrorists in southeastern Diyarbakir province's Sur district to 196, Turkish military says
Turkish security forces killed six PKK terrorists during ongoing operations in southeastern Turkey’s Diyarbakir province Saturday, the military announced Sunday.
Turkish General Staff said in a statement Sunday that six terrorists had been killed in Diyarbakir’s Sur district Saturday, bringing the total number of "neutralized" terrorists there to 196.
It also said that two other PKK members were captured in southeastern Sirnak’s Cizre district. Several weapons were also reportedly seized.
The army also captured a suspected Daesh member while crossing illegally into Turkey’s southeastern Sanliurfa province, the statement added.
The PKK -- listed as a terrorist organization also by the U.S. and EU -- resumed its 30-year armed campaign last July.
Since then, more than 260 members of the security forces have been martyred and thousands of PKK terrorists killed, according to officials.
