Two Kidnapped Turkish Workers Released In Iraq

Police say two of the 18 Turkish workers kidnapped early this month in Baghdad have been released in Iraq's southern Basra Province.
The spokesman for the Basra police department said the men identified themselves on September 16 to a passing patrol in the western part of the city. 
The two were said to be in good health.
The 18 men were snatched from a construction site in Baghdad's Shi'ite-dominated Sadr City on September 2.
Last week, a video from a previously unknown militant group showed the hostages and demanded that Turkey, among other things, halt the flow of militants into Iraq and lift what was described as a "siege" on Syrian cities.
