At least 11 killed in NE Nigeria twin blasts: hospital sources

ABUJA, June 15 (Xinhua) -- At least 11 people were killed Monday in twin blasts in the Potiskum city of Nigeria's northeastern state of Yobe, sources at the state-run general hospital told Xinhua.

The twin blasts, suspected to be perpetration of two suicide bombers of the Boko Haram group, targeted an office of a local security outfit and a pub in Potiskum, the largest commercial town in Yobe State, said a senior medical staff who preferred to be anonymous.

At least eight injured are also receiving treatment at the health facility, the hospital source added.
