Two 16-year-olds arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences in Tameside

The boy and girl were arrested on Monday and searches are currently ongoing at addresses on Hanover Street and Spring Mill Drive, Mossley


Two teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences in Mossley.

The boy and girl, both aged 16, were arrested on Monday on suspicion of being concerned in the commission, preparation or instigation of an act of terrorism and remain in police custody.

Searches are currently ongoing at addresses on Hanover Street and Spring Mill Drive, Mossley.
