FBI seeks access to Pakistani cybercrime suspects
The US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has asked Pakistan's Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for access to the two men arrested in Karachi for their involvement in cybercrimes.
The two men were wanted by Interpol and FBI for allegedly defrauding companies and individuals of over $50 million, Dawn online reported Friday.
A senior official of the FIA's Cybercrime Wing said Nooruddin Aziz was on the FBI's list of 10 most wanted cyber criminals.
FBI had announced a $50,000 reward for his arrest.
He identified the other suspect in custody as Farhan Arshad.
The official said the FBI had contacted the FIA investigators and sought access to the two suspects.
The two men were arrested last Saturday
