US racism pushing to edge


On the night before Christmas, US police forces have shot dead another black teenager for allegedly pointing a gun at a police officer.

The deadly incident happened in a town near Ferguson, Missouri, scene of a prior police shooting that sparked nationwide protests.

In this edition of The Debate we ask Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African People's Socialist Party, from Tampa and Frederick Peterson, a Congressional Defense Policy Advisor, from Washington, that would this incident and other incidents of racial targeting of people of color, push the US over the edge?
