3rd blast in Cairo leaves no casualties
Egyptian officials say five people have been killed and dozens
wounded after three blasts rocked the capital of Cairo. The latest blast
targeted a police station near the famous Giza Pyramids.
The explosion was caused by a home-made device and caused no casualties. Officials say the device had been placed next to the Talbiya police station in the southwestern suburb. The station is about four kilometers from the pyramids.
Earlier, a car bomb targeted the main police headquarters downtown, killing four people and wounding dozens. One person was killed in another blast targeting police vehicles near a Cairo metro station. Egypt’s Interior Ministry says no one has claimed responsibility for the attacks
