J&K: 18-year-old shot dead by suspected Lashkar terrorists

Srinagar: Unidentified terrorists have shot dead an 18-year-old youth in Jammu and Kashmir. Police say Suhail Ahmad Sofi was chased down and shot in Dobgah village of Sopore at around 10 pm on Tuesday night.
Preliminary investigation suggests the involvement of Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists. Meanwhile, taking up the issue in the state Assembly, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah condemned the incident and asked the Opposition as to why they were silent on the issue.
He also tweeted saying that the opposition reacts only when security forces are involved in an incident. "If security forces are found responsible for any bloodshed and deaths, opposition raises its voice and creates a ruckus in the House. But today, when militants have killed a young boy, there is silence. No one is protesting against it," Omar said.
