Grenades, detonators recovered from mini bus

Acting on a tip-off, police today recovered five hand grenades and as many detonators and arrested a person from a mini-bus from Kamrup Rural district of Assam.

Police said the grenades and detonators were recovered from Bijoy Boro, who was travelling in the bus which was on its way from Tamulpur in Baksa district to Rangiya in Kamrup Rural district.

The police stopped the vehicle at Indo-Bhutan road at Rangiya Tinali near Patarkuchi and seized the grenades and detonators.
