25 killed in Turkey ammunition depot blast


Turkey’s military says an explosion at an ammunition depot in the country’s west has killed 25 soldiers.

Forestry Minister Veysel Eroglu said that the explosion occurred late Wednesday at a section where hand grenades were kept.

The soldiers’ remains were discovered early Thursday after a blaze caused by the blast was extinguished.
