Sufi shrine fire: Undeclared curfew in Srinagar

Srinagar: Two days after a fire broke out in 200-year-old Peer Dastageer Sahib shrine at Khanyar, the authorities here have imposed an undeclared curfew.
Meanwhile, in some old parts of Srinagar, the municipality and other departments have joined hands to clean the muck that gathered after the blaze.
The Sufi shrine was respected and revered from people from all faiths. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday promised the people that restoration work is going to start and a exact copy of the older building is going to come up.
