‘Mehsud responsible for terrorism’

LAHORE: Taliban commander Qari Zainudin Mehsud has said he is not in favour of attacks against the Pakistan government and blames Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) chief Baitullah Mehsud for all terrorist acts in the country. Talking to a private TV channel on Wednesday, Zainudin said Islam did not permit attacks inside Pakistan, adding it was the issue of attacks inside Pakistan, which was the basis of his differences with Baitullah Mehsud. He said they had allied with Baitullah against non-Muslims and not for attacks inside Pakistan.
