UK stabbing incident leaves 2 dead, one wounded in Wolverhampton

A deadly stabbing incident in the central English city of Wolverhampton has left two people dead after a separate stabbing incident took place outside London's Victoria station a day earlier.
"Police were called to a block of flats in Leasowes Drive, in the Merry Hill area of the city, at around 0945 am(GMT) where it is believed a man attacked two women before inflicting stab injuries on himself," West Midlands police said in a statement on Wednesday.
Police said they used stun grenades to detain the assailant, thought to be in his 30s, who died shortly after being detained. A woman, also believed to be in her 30s, died at the scene.
Another woman, in her 50s, was taken to hospital with critical stomach wounds.
Police say the man stabbed the two women before inflicting stab injuries on himself.
The incident is believed to be related to domestic violence.
On Tuesday, at around 0400 pm (GMT) another double stabbing incident was reported outside London's busy Victoria station.
London police said they had received reports of two males with stab injuries in Wilton Road.

“Two males have been taken to a central London hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life changing,” police reported.
Security has been tight in London since the city was last hit by a terror attack on July 7, 2005, when four extremists targeted three underground trains and one bus, killing 52 people.
