Bangladesh: Two 'militant hideouts' busted in Chittagong, cop injured in 'grenade attack'

A police inspector has been injured when militants hurled grenades at the law enforcers during a raid at two militant hideouts in Sitakunda upazila of Chittagong district in Bangladesh.  A team of the Chittagong Special Branch (SB) of police conducted the drive based on information from a suspected militant couple, who were arrested from Amirabad area of the upazila earlier on Wednesday. 
Additional Police Super Mahiuddowla Reza said that two houses in Sitakunda Upazila town have been cordoned off since Wednesday afternoon. On the other hand, Chittagong Police Super Nure Alam Mina said inspector of Sitakunda Police Station Mozammel Haque sustained splinter injuries.
Police came under attack as they conducted the raid at a suspected den of "Neo JMB" in Premtala area, the officer told India Today. He said, militants hurled "several grenades" at police when they tried to seal the house leaving the police inspector injured
According to Sitakunda police, a two-storey building was cordoned off owned by one Suresh Biswas, from where a man and a woman have been detained.
Based on information gleaned from them, the second raid on a house owned by 'Shahin' was conducted at Premtala area later. Police said that bomb disposal units are on their way to the scenes.
