Al Shabaab Warns of More Terrorist Attacks Against Christians Like Garissa State University Massa

The Al Shaban group has reportedly distributed leaflets in Kenya warning of more attacks on Christian schools, as seen by the recent attack on Garissa State University in April that left 147 dead.

The terrorist group has allegedly distributed leaflets in Kenya's Elgeyo-Marakwet County Rift Valley province, warning of planned terrorist attacks on the area's four major schools.

Officials in the province have said they are investigating the source of the leaflets and their legitimacy.

Kenya has been reeling since the April 2 terrorist attack on Garissa State University that left 147 people, mostly students dead.

Eyewitness accounts from last month's attack indicate that members of the Islamist extremist group reportedly separated Christian and Muslim students, freeing the Islamic students and executing the Christian students.

Following the massive attack, the al-Qaeda affiliated terror group said in an email to local media outlets to warn that more attacks were coming.

"No amount of precaution or safety measures will be able to guarantee your safety, thwart another attack or prevent another bloodbath from occurring in your cities," the group said in their statement.

Recently, one British citizen and two Swedish citizens pled guilty in a New York court for attempting to provide material support to the al Shabaab terror group.

The men reportedly pled guilty to conspiracy charges instead of standing trial for terrorism charges in U.S. court. They were accused of taking al Shabaab-led training courses on weapons, explosives, and suicide attacks.

The three suspects reportedly face a maximum of 15 years in prison if they're found guilty of the conspiracy charges.
