Man guns down five in Pakistan mosque

ISLAMABAD: A madman armed with an AK-47 assault rifle stormed into a mosque in Pakistan's northwest tribal region and shot dead five worshippers, Geo News reported.

The incident took place in Batgaram in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Police said the attacker, a resident of Bannu town, was insane.

Four other worshippers received bullet wounds.
